Our Story

Est. 16 June 2024

If you haven’t met us yet, Hi! I’m KayLee, the creator of PNWPA. I’ll be honest, I still don’t really know why I thought I could be the one to start a truck group but here we are (and I’m so glad I did)! In March of 2024, I bought The Hemmins, my ‘08 Dodge 2500. During this time, truck groups had grown really popular on TikTok, so of course I wanted to join one since this was my first “build”. The problem I faced relatively quick was the drama, as well as being the furthest state way from where these groups were based out of.

Then on a random Sunday that following June, after searching for hours to see if there was a local club, I decided to try creating my own. ChatGPT and I went back ‘n forth for hours trying to come up with a name that wasn’t already being used or gag-worthy cringy. I ended up picking PNW Pistol Annies simply because I could take “Hell on Heels” and change to “Hell on Wheels”…. I guess I didn’t get very far on avoiding the cringe lol. Since I had absolutely no clue what I was doing, other than knowing I wanted to create something people would be proud to be apart of, I called up Kinzie (our now VP) and somehow convinced her to help build this from the ground up.

Next thing I knew, one TikTok posted over Labor Day weekend flipped the switch. We jumped from about 50 members to 200, and climbing, overnight! I could barely keep up with all the new DMs! That’s when it hit us, PNWPA wasn’t just some silly idea anymore- people ACTUALLY wanted to join us! We originally only accepted those from the PNW but watching the community grow and witnessing the encouragement from our members, I didn’t feel like it was right to deny people simply due to their location which resulted in us accepting members nationwide.

By early 2025, we moved from Snap Groups to Discord. We found an outlet that provided organization, an upgraded way to engage with other members, and offered a new way to grow. At the end of 2025, PNWPA sat at about 400 members with 6 state divisions AND we started a public division! We joined forces with a few other truck groups, held multiple meets and even became a sponsor for an event!

PNWPA was started to be more than just another snap group and we’ve done just that. PNWPA is proving the automotive scene doesn’t have to be toxic or full of bs drama. It can be supportive, empowering and fun as hell.

To everyone who’s been apart of it so far- Thank you! Your encouragement, support and patience has helped shape PNWPA into what it is… and we’re only getting started.
